Hickey, Jr., who died on Sunday, Oct. 13 following a longillness at the Don Orione Nursing Home in East Boston.Born and raised in EastBoston, he attended Boston English High School and was a member of the Class of1954. Thomas spent most of hisworking career as a commission broker. He lived in Las Vegas, Nev. for manyyears, before returning to Boston and living in Winthrop for over 20 years. He was the beloved son ofthe late Thomas F. Hickey Sr. and Helene Jeannette (Buckley) Hickey; thecherished brother to Charles E. Hickey and his wife, Pamela of Saugus and thelate Francis P. Tamagna andshared 50 years together until the time of his passing in 2011.  She was acareer bookkeeper and worked at the Cambridge Company and NE Produce beforeretiring in 1998. Lydia and her husband resided briefly inRevere but she remained a lifelong resident of Chelsea in her heart.  Shewas a devoted member of the former Nativity of the Virgin Mary Russian OrthodoxChurch in Chelsea, a member of the St. Mary’s Women’s Guild and served astreasurer on the Parish Council. In addition to her husband and parents,Lydia was predeceased by a nephew, James A.
